Nigredo Studies
These bowl shaped stoneware sculptures are inspired by the alchemical transformation stage called Nigredo. The theme of Nigredo was picked up in the 20th Century by the psychologist C G Jung, who throughly studied the symbology alchemical works and its relation to the psyche.
